Patience is a virtue worth trying

2022 sure has been a year filled with ups and downs and remorseful thoughts. I for one have been constantly stuck with the mundane drama of job hunting. Writing and rephrasing ideas, while forgetting what needed to be done the next day. From spending hours upon hours on LinkedIn and daily task writing out poetry to post. It’s safe to say this year has been meh.
But what I can say is that this year has taught me patience and put the tools to use for studying my worth. It’s hard to believe that writing has evolved so much that one can juggle between copywriting and UX writing while pivoting off what to create. With every step I took, I found more obstacles to take, whether that be understanding what stands out from a writer aspect to wanting to grow my brand trust me when I say I failed a lot this year. But that’s what made this year great, I failed so that I can learn and evolve. Writing is a lifelong lesson that has its ends and downs, but it’s a lifelong lesson that I glamor to move in the right steps. Every day I found new ways to stand out from a poet to a marketing aspect. The biggest tip I found in my writing this year is knowing the audience and I hope you too can find that in your studies. Whether you are crafting art, taking photos, or even making music; you should know what your audience wants to see and target that.
And if you’re wondering how to understand your audience here are some tips:
1. Research
a. Learn what they are interested ted and what of your work stands out to them, then work that to fill the void.
2. Read
a. Can’t say this enough, read articles, study notes, listen to the podcast and check in with me. It can raise volumes of what you are doing.
3. Find your niche
a. Know what you are talking about, it goes in hand with research. It’s easier said than done, but if you can create a list of ideas, you want to work on it can ease the pain of what you are producing for the audience.
Your passion should drive you to heights that only you can see and should help you set goals for yourself. For me, I wanted to be a writer, but I didn’t know I wanted to be one of many aspirations, and see how this year has shaped, me I’m grateful to have done it. I hope as you keep writing or practicing your skills, you find that opportunity to be at the top of it all.
And if I can give you one last tip, I’d say you’re never too late. At this time of my writing, I’m 24 and so many of us feel like we’re stuck too late. You are never too late to chase a dream or to make something of yourself. As the great Robert Williams says, “You can do anything you want, you are bound by nothing.”
Go give the world all you got!
