Crafting poetry in the world

In the world we live today, there are many forms of art that express meaning and formability. But one of the most finding forms of art is poetry. Poetry gives meaning and breathes too many distinct forms that capitalize on what others cannot. When we look at the world, people capitalize and explore ways to give life, ways to give meaning and I believe one of the most captivating ways art does this is within words from poetry.

Movies and Visual
One capitalizing way this works is when we come to look at society through movies and the visual effect it gives. When we watch movies, we come to explore a world that isn’t ours. A world that is set apart but what brings us in deeper at first maybe the visual aspect; from the trees and grass that blows in the wind, or even from the sounds of engines roaring through streets of Tokyo. But what truly sinks us into the edge of our seats is the wordplay and the topics that are discussed by the actors.
For example, one of the most prominent word plays that I heard is from one of my favorite movies, The Great Gatsby. I mention in a previous article an in-depth about one of my favorite lines. Toward close to the middle of the movie and book is when Janie says, “I was within and without, simultaneously enchanted and repelled by the inexhaustible variety of life.”-Fitzgerald F. Scott, The Great Gatsby.” Words like this give a direct meaning to description and freedom to explore oneself. When watching the movie visually this scene sets apart how Janie investigates himself from the toxicity around him from the party to watching himself from afar amongst hundreds of people that are living a mundane lifestyle of their own. We can find poetry like this in thousands of books and hundreds of discoveries that even some children’s stories set apart the world to think deeper of oneself.
Social media and the Impacting Messages
Next, when it comes to our world of poetry and art, I believe one of the most capitalizing ways poetry works is how people use it today in media outlets. Social media is its own megastar, people are allowed to self-express who they are and create their own identity. What I find to be most merciful in this world is the way marketing companies celebrate assets themselves to use words for meaning or even for a cause.
For instance, when we look at celebrities like Zendaya or even Liza Koshy, it may not always be the words they portray post, but they use the images they take apart in sets them aside to explore and capture a moment that poetry can reflect on. Poetry is an art itself that though we use words, we craft with our mind and body to give a sense of meaning towards. It doesn’t always have to be a poem but more it can be how we portray that image or meaning within it.
Songwriting and Musicians
One credit that needs its due is to all songwriters. The muse that gives when writing their art form is unique and delicate, to which we can flourish to fall in line with or wrap ourselves with. Songwriting has its own world to it, to which poetry thrives and touches people’s hearts and souls around the world. There isn’t enough to say that links directly with what beauty can be found in songs. One singer that I remark upon for their beauty in songwriting is Jhene Aiko. Her words echo louder when living within them, but truly one song that is remarkable and beautiful is her song Overstimulated. In one verse she states,
“I am alone, I am a misfit
I'm in the zone, no competition
I am the one, so you should listen”

When lyrics come to life it may not the pattern that people think about but more so the feeling that assorts itself from this beauty. To connect with the singer but most importantly within themselves. That’s what brings songwriting to life. Creating that bridge that connects singer and audience.
Conclusion:
To complete this statement, when you look at art in form think of it to yourself and how you can capitalize on it. Beauty in poetry lives within the reader as to how they see it. I see this whenever I read an article or whenever I listen to a songwriter. Find that connection that holds key to your heart and make it yours. Most of all let the art speak to you and let it breathe within you.
